This is a 2020 Indian Telugu language action thriller film written and directed by Mohanna Sir. One of the most hyped and awaited Telugu movie of 2020.

This is a Pyscho plus revenge movie. This movie is about 140 minutes long. Everyone in the press conference have been talking about the twist in the movie, I really feel that the twist is a good one, but it donot actually effect much to the movie.

The first 20-30 minutes in the movie is boring where the actor fight goons shirtless followed by an award ceremony and a disco song. But after the introduction of antagonist Nani, this movie takes a turn.

3. Nivedita Thomas as Apoorva, a psychology student.

4. Aditi Rao as Saheba

5. Vennela Kishore as Mansoor (Supporting role)

The Story starts with DCP Adithya arriving at a  Communal riot and he protects several women by fighting with the goons. For his this fearless act, he receives the Gallantry award.

On the same day, when he received the Gallentry award, Prasad, one of his coworker is brutally murdered. And the criminal, Vishnu challenges Adithya saying that he will be commiting four more murders in a very short time. And if he is a super cop, as people say, he will have to stop Vishnu or else he have to surrender all his awards infront of press.  

He accepts the challenge.

After the murder of Prasad, Vishnu leaves behind a clue before he goes to his second victim. The clue is in the form of riddle. DCP Adithya is helped by his love interest, Apoorva, a crime novelist.

One of the most disappointed part are the songs, they set the mood to romantic ofcourse and also the ending could have been a bit better. And also the fact that apart from the lead characters, very less importance is given to the other characters.

The best part of the movie is Nani’ s acting. His character is quite a role. The way he talks, his smile, scenes of him toying fellow passengers all are shown very beautifully. Despite being the antagonist he steals the show.

The rest of the movie is a Cat and mouse chase between the protagonist and antagonist. As we move ahead into the film, we will get to know many dark secrets of the politicians involved in the case and also the riots which I have mentioned in the beginning is just a cover up for many things to follow.

The film score is composed by S Thamam and the soundtrack album is composed by Amit Trivedi. The background score is very intense and it will keep you attcahed to the movie.

What was Vishnu’s condition which provoke him to take this steps?

What is the dark secret of the politicians and how are they connected to the communal riots?

Will DCP Adithya be able to catch Vishnu or Will he lose the challenge?

My Verdict:

The Visual effect, Background score are the showstealler but apart from this the songs are boring, the story is predictable with no such twist.

But I must admit that Nani’s acting will keep you attached to the movie. His Voice, his acting, the visuals will give you thrills and this is what expected of such a decorated actor.

I would say the screenplay for the first part is not upto the mark, yes, but the screenplay for the second part is better and the climax is well written too…

I would give 3/5. One for background score and two star for Nani’s acting skills.
